Clinical Supervision for MFT & LPC Candidates
Cultivating Confident, Thoughtful, and Ethical Therapists
Supervision is about so much more than collecting hours. It's an opportunity to develop your clinical voice, deepen your confidence, and become the kind of therapist you aspire to be.
Whether you're an MFT Candidate or LPC Candidate, I strive to create a supervision experience that feels collaborative, supportive, and appropriately challenging. My goal isn't simply to help you meet licensure requirements—it's to help you become a therapist who thinks critically, practices ethically, and feels grounded in your work.
My Approach to Supervision
Relationships are at the heart of both therapy and supervision. I believe we grow best when we feel safe enough to ask difficult questions, explore uncertainty, and receive honest feedback within a supportive relationship.
My supervision is grounded in systemic thinking and informed by a Bowenian perspective, while remaining flexible enough to meet you where you are in your professional development. Together we'll explore not only your clients and interventions, but also your use of self as a therapist, your clinical decision-making, and the relational patterns that emerge within therapy.
Rather than providing all the answers, I aim to cultivate your ability to think systemically, trust your clinical instincts, and develop confidence in your own therapeutic style. As your skills grow, my role naturally shifts from teacher and coach to consultant and mentor. Ultimately, my hope is to support your development into an independent, reflective clinician.
What You Can Expect
Supervision with me includes opportunities to:
Strengthen case conceptualization through a systemic lens
Deepen self-of-the-therapist awareness
Build confidence in your clinical decision-making
Develop ethical reasoning and professional judgment
Explore parallel process and relational dynamics
Receive constructive feedback through case consultation and video review
Expand your clinical skills while developing your own authentic therapeutic approach
Grow within a supportive, collaborative supervisory relationship
I believe curiosity creates growth. Supervision should be a place where mistakes become opportunities for learning, difficult cases become opportunities for reflection, and questions are welcomed rather than judged.
